Perfect planning for your JTrade exhibitor experience

To make the most of your JTrade experience, you should plan in advance and be fully prepared before you attend the show. Understanding what to expect will help you make the most of your time at JTrade.  And some pre-event planning can go a very long way…

WHAT DO YOU WANT TO ACHIEVE?

Whether it’s brand awareness or showing off your latest product, whatever your goals of hosting an exhibition stand at JTrade, we are here to help you achieve them. Will you be looking to invite along current customers and clients for a chance to catch up and re-establish connections? Maybe you haven’t had the chance to meet many people face to face since Covid began and the show offers   a great opportunity to restart the human-to-human element of your business? Will you be looking to make new connections on the day or make actual sales to the visitors who come to your stand?

Whatever the objectives of your time at JTrade, taking some time to plan pre-show marketing can help you meet your objectives and boost your business.

BUILDING ON EXISTING RELATIONSHIPS

Introduce your business to new contacts at the JTrade event – and reconnect with current, or previous clients and customers. If one of your objectives is to strengthen existing relationships, it is important you  let people know you will be at JTrade and where they can find you. To assist you with this, the JTrade team will provide you with a pre-designed social media asset to announce your attendance and stand number. We also supply each exhibitor with a unique email footer (along with instructions on how to install) that can be added to outgoing mailboxes for automatic addition to your emails.

Consider sending a newsletter to your customer database announcing your attendance at JTrades, how they can attend (it’s free for visitors) and where they can find you at the ExCel. People love to feel special and appreciated. By inviting customers, who have been loyal to your company, personally over the phone or sending them an individual email, you can express how much you appreciate their business and relationship.

TELL EVERYONE!

Telling everyone that you will be at JTrade is a great way to get any potential clients along. Don’t just tell your mailing list you will be attending – send a Press Release to your local newspapers and radio shows, and any trade press you would like to feature in. Make sure that you include your stand details and include an image (with copyright details) they can use.

Remember to consider the angle you will take for your press release – are you launching a new product? A new business? Running a promotion? Make it newsworthy and interesting.

INCENTIVISE

Offer a discount or prize draw incentive to encourage people to visit your stand. Make sure they know in advance so they can plan their day accordingly.

MAXIMISE SOCIAL MEDIA

Be sure to use the hashtag #JTrade2022 whenever you post about the show on social media.

Tag JTrade on the various social channels – Facebook @JTrade, Twitter @JTrade_London, Instagram @Jtrade.london and Linkedin so that people know you will be attending.
